Jetzt sind wir schon eine Woche in Nairobi und ich habe so viel gesehen und so viele Geschichten gehört, dass ich erst mal etwas davon aufschreiben muß.

The design of walls, their colours and surface structure, decisively influences how well we feel in it. Of course, this also subject to trends and fashions, but I think it should fit to the personality of the people living in it. It is like a coat that envelops us.
The transition to a resource-saving and sustainable economy is one of the largest challenges of our century. The preservation and augmentation of capital is a self-evident tasks for companies, but sustainability in managing ecological and social resources is still relatively new. Economics was often conceived as a set of rules, based on abstract models, for the development of businesses and economies, which seemed to have no relation to social and ecological contexts. Even today, we still use mathematical models from the 19./20.
Seit 10 Jahren wohne ich in einem kleinen Dorf im Süden Frankreichs. Ich fühle mich wohl hier, es ist mein zu Hause geworden. Ob Familie, Freunde oder Bekannte, fast allen, die uns besuchen, fallen irgendwelche Merkwürdigkeiten auf, die wir dann erklären sollen. Merkwürdigkeiten im Sinne des Wortes – würdig bemerkt zu werden. In solchen Momenten bemerke ich, wie sehr ich mich schon an viele dieser Merkwürdigkeiten gewöhnt und gelernt habe, damit umzugehen.
